Bobbi you were the best dog I ever had so full of life so loyal, I miss you loads. Me and Danielle called you blob dog or Bobbi girl, you were everything to me.I still miss you loads even though it's been 6 yrs since you passed over. 5 day's after you passed away we got Toby a 2 to 3 yr old jack russell from Battersea dogs home, I couldn't stand being in the house without you by my side. Hope you are happy where ever you may be. Love you loads blobs Jan xx

BOBBI U CAME TO US AS A 12 WK OLD MONGREL PUPPY ON THE 3RD OF MARCH 1994 FROM BATERSEA DOGS HOME. U FITTED INTO OUR FAMILY LIKE A HAND INSIDE A GLOVE, U LOVED UR WALKS IN THE PARK & WOULD CHASE THE BIRDS & PLAY WITH OTHER DOGS, U HATED BONFIRE NIGHT BECAUSE WHEN U WERE A PUPPY SOMEONE LET OFF A BANGER & IT LANDED NEAR U & FRIGHTENED U AFTER THAT EVERYBONFIRE NIGHT & DURING A THUNDER STORM U WOULD SIT NEXT TO ME OR DANIELLE SHAKING WITH FEAR, WHEN I CAME HOME FROM WORK OR SHOPPING U WOULD BE THERE WAGGING UR TAIL EXCITED TO SEE ME & U SEEMED TO KNOW WHEN DENNIS WAS DUE HOME FROM WORK BECAUSE U WOULD SIT BY THE FRONT DOOR PATIENTLY WAITING, IN LATE MARCH 2004 U BEGAN TO GET SICK, U STARTED COUGHING IF U RAN AROUND OR LAY ON UR BACK, @ THE BEGINING OF APRIL WE TOOK U TO THE VETS TO BE TOLD U HADE A LEAKING HEART VALVE, U WERE GIVEN TABLETS & WE WERE TOLD TO BRING U BACK EVERY MONTH FOR CHECK UPS. IN JULY U GOT WORSE, SO WE TOOK U BACK TO THE VETS, WE ASKED FOR U TO BE PUT TO SLEEP BECAUSE WE WERE NOT HAPPY WITH UR PROGRESS BUT SHE SAID NO "IT'S NOT TIME YET" WE ASKED A FEW TIMES BUT STILL SHE SAID NO. WE WERE NOT HAPPY WITH UR QUALTIY OF LIFE. ON MONDAY 23RD OF AUGUST 2004 DENNIS GOT U FOR WORK AS USUAL HE RAN UPSTAIRS TO ME (I WAS STILL SLEEPING) & TOLD ME U WOULDN'T COME WHEN CALLED & WAS LYING DOWN & HE THOUGH U WERE DEAD, I RAN DOWNSTAIRS & SAT CUDDLING U, I DIDN'T WANT TO LET U GO. THE KIDS WERE CRYING. BOBBI U HAD A HEART ATTACK DURING THE NIGHT WE WERE ALL DEVASTATED. THAT AFTERNOON WE WENT BACK TO BATERSEA TO FILL OUT THE FORMS TO GET ANOTHER DOG, WE WAITED 5 DAYS, DENNIS DIDN'T WANT ANOTHER ONE BUT I HATED BEING IN THE FLAT WITHOUT U BY MY SIDE, NO WAGGING TAIL WHEN I GOT HOME, NO WET NOSE NUDGING MY HAND TELLING ME IT WAS TIIME FOR WALKIES, IN THE END WE WENT BACK TO BATTERSEA & GOT TOBY A 2-3 YR OLD JACK RUSSELL TERRIER, TOBY HAS HELPED HEAL OUR BROKEN HEARTS HE IS SCATTY & LOUD U WERE QUITE. BOBBI WE MISS U EVERYDAY, IT'S BEEN 6YRS SINCE U DIED & WE STILL TALK ABOUT U AS IF U ARE STILL WITH US, TOBY IS ABOUT 7 OR 8 NOW & EVEN THOUGH WE LOVE HIM LOADS HE'S NOT U. Angel Harps

Last night I saw you in my dreams
a brilliant light engulfed your soul.
And through my sleepy reverie
a glorious message did unfold.
The voice was that of angel harps
as you told me of the way
in which the bridge kids celebrate
this extraordinary day.
A radiant warmth ran through me
when you tenderly detailed
a special place I'd never been
where splendid love prevails.
You told me how the bridge kids
hold their paws and pray
for peace on earth, goodwill toward men
on this special, holy day.
Each bridge kid makes a heartfelt wish
to the Keeper of the stars,
they wish each stray a new-found home
without concrete floors and bars.
They ask that every homeless one
the Keeper not forget
for each one has the soul to be
a loyal, loving pet.
I watch you drift away from me
as in early dawn I find
the spirit of your paw-print message
still vivid in my mind.
I hold the message near my heart
and with a smile I hear
a lullaby of angel harps
singing in my ear.
Beyond the Rainbow
As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.

I wish I had a daisy
for each time you've crossed my mind,
I'd lay a trail of white and gold
across the great divide.
I wish I had an orchid
for each tear I've cried for you,
I'd fill the deepest ocean
and watch the waves come through.

for each memory that we made,
I'd plant them in the clouds
in tribute to your loving ways.

it does relieve the pain.

all that God has planned.

I'm closer to you now,
than I ever was before.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it
by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
and I'd like it for you too;

Then you can say to God at night...

I know what you're thinking. You think I'm dead. Because you cannot see me with your human eye, cannot feel me with your hands or hold me in your arms, you think I am gone forever.
You recall how I looked when I left this place, and you cannot remotely imagine that I could possibly be alive in another place. You are racked and torn by the pain of our separation and it blinds you to that which is right in front of you... me..............
I'm here to tell you different. You were worthy of my love and undying devotion on earth as I of yours. Do you really believe this love would be snatched from us forever by a loving Creator simply because I wasn't human? Was I not a living, breathing creation with personality? How could I have been so if I didn't possess the energy of soul, spirit and loving light? And if this energy is and always will be, then how can it be that I am dead?

You say that all you have left are memories. Not so. You see, when I took leave of my earthly body I left a little something behind for you. You can't touch it, hold it or examine it for what I left behind is far too uninhibited for confinement. I left behind a piece of my soul. I placed it right next to your own which is quite fitting as we were always side by side in our earthly life together. I love you too much to have left you with nothing but memories, which tend to fade and grow cloudy as the years go by.
I love you too much to have vanished without a trace. How selfish it would be of me to remove love and light from your life.

I understand your tears, each one you shed is testament to your love for me and I am honored and humbled. But don't forget the good things we shared - remember and smile. This is an honor for me as well. And when you need me I will be here. Close your eyes, relax, take slow, deep breaths and picture me in your mind. Shut off the world and your notions of what death is and give me a chance. Look for the subtle signs I send you. Don't stop being proud of me, I am a friend to be proud of, I am still your friend and soul mate.
Don't memorialize the death of my body but instead honor and celebrate my never-ending life for it is eternal and forever as is my love for you.

Precious Love
The agony is so great...
and yet I will stand it.
Had I not loved so very much...
I would not hurt so much.
But God knows I would not want to diminish
that precious love...
By one fraction of an ounce.

And I will be grateful for that hurt
